What to Expect in Worship
We hold that the Divine Service is central to our identity as Lutheran Christians. In a world of shifting trends, we remain committed to the exclusive use of the historic Liturgy. We eschew modern innovations like "praise bands" or "praise teams," finding them unsuited to the gravity of the Means of Grace. Instead, we offer worship as it was conducted in the infancy of the Church and restored during the Reformation. Our goal is simple: to remain steadfast in the truth and to bequeath to our children a worship life that is objective, reverent, and eternal.
Holy Communion
We believe that the Lord’s Supper is a profound gift of unity in both faith and confession. Following the Biblical and historical practice of the LCMS, we observe Closed Communion. If you are a guest from a sister LCMS congregation, we welcome you to join us! We simply ask that you speak briefly with the Pastor before the service begins. If you are not a member of an LCMS church, we kindly ask that you refrain from communing at this time. We would love to share more about our beliefs with you—please feel free to schedule a time to chat with the Pastor.
Catechism Instruction (Catechesis)
Classes for Christian initiation and doctrine (catechesis) are offered year round. Please contact the pastor if you are interested in this and/or becoming a communicant member.
