Who We Are
Our parish is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. We stand steadfastly on the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the inspired, inerrant Word of God—the sole rule and norm for faith and the only foundation for a relationship with the Living God. This relationship is found through the life and merit of His Son, Jesus Christ, the only Savior for a fallen world and the only hope for mankind.
We also subscribe to the Book of Concord (1580) as a true and faithful exposition of God’s Word. If you have questions regarding our beliefs or practices, we invite you to contact our pastor, Reverend Vogts.
Where in the World is God?
Every age faces a piercing theological question. Today, many ask: "Where in the world is God?" Perhaps the complexities of modern life, the weight of global disasters, or personal struggles make it difficult to reconcile daily reality with the mercy of God.
While the world often dismisses the answer for its simplicity, we believe God has revealed Himself fully in the Person of Jesus Christ and His Cross. He continues to give of Himself today through the "means of grace": the preaching of His Word, the waters of Holy Baptism, and the Bread and Wine of Holy Communion. Where these are present, Christ is present. Our mission is simple: To Deliver Christ Crucified.
Our Worship
In the Divine Service, we receive the gifts of forgiveness, life, and salvation. To protect the purity of this message, we utilize the historic liturgical forms passed down from the Early Church and the Reformation.
Rather than following modern trends or contemporary entertainment styles, we find the greatest edification in reverent, timeless worship. By clinging to these historic forms, we ensure that the faith "once delivered to the saints" is faithfully passed on to the next generation.
